Awaiting SEC
The State Examinations Commission (SEC) has not yet published the Junior Cycle 2027 written exam timetable.

What is confirmed for 2027 so far?
The Department of Education and Youth confirmed on 23 September 2026 that the exam and assessment adjustments used in recent years continue for students sitting in 2027.
What to do until the timetable is out
- Ask your school for coursework, oral and practical deadlines. The SEC publishes those separately from the written timetable.
- Bookmark this page. It changes the day the SEC publishes on examinations.ie.
